Festival of istrian cuisine
Istria is famous for its gastronomy, good wines and olive oils. The food and beverages are even better when consumed in typical environment, in an istrian “konoba” The duration of the program is 6 days with 5 overnights. Visit the most beautiful places in Istria and taste istrian dishes.
Description of the program:
Day one: Arrival in Poreč and accommodation
Day two: Excursion to the central part of Istria. Visit of rypical medieval towns, on top of hills, with walls protecting them. Menu of the lunch: istrian ham (pršut), dheese, gnocchi with meat, salad and sweet. Wine tasting in a typical wine cellar.
Day three: Excursion to the south of Istria. Visit of the towns nearby the sea. Menu of the lunch based on sea food. Tasting of olive oil.
Day four: Day off. We offer optional activities or excursions.
Day five: Excursion to the east part of Istria. Visit of typical istrian towns. Lunch menu: istrian “maneštra”, “fuži” with meat and sauce, salad and sweet.
Day six: Departure. We can offer an optional excursion.
The program is organised for a minimum of 1 person (for only 1 person a supplement of 50% has to be paid). The program has the duration of 6 days, 5 overnights. Our program is based on an accommodation in 3* or 4* hotels in Poreč, with the service of half board or in private accommodation. The lunch, ¼ l of wine and water are included in the price on all the excursions of the program. The program can be changed based on special wishes of the group.
